Behind the lens
Hi there!
I am Märt, 35 years old and some call me a photographer.
I've taken photos for some 20 years now, but it still is rather a hobby, although sometimes a work assignment.
I have actually studied biology in the University of Tartu and in University of South Bohemia in Czech Republic, and in recent years worked in the Natural History Museum of Estonia, the Ministry of Rural Affairs of Estonia, the National Library of Estonia and Tallinn Zoo, written and managed various ESG-related projects among many other things I do. I also spend time on environmental education issues, because getting to know your natural whereabouts is an important topic for everyone.
Speaking about photography – as a work I mostly take photos of people and events, with some friends we have also have a themed studio brand. But of course the range of subjects is wide, I myself enjoy the most wandering around and capturing the essence of situations as I see it.
This particular page is to show some of the nature photography I've captured. Made for a specific project, but I chose to keep it ;)
